FORESIDE MAINE COON CATS
GRIMALKIN Our wonderful maine coon uncle to all.
Here at foreside, we breed pedigree Maine Coons and occasionally Maine Coon / Bengal crosses.
Our main objective is to breed and produce healthy, happy, well socialised kittens that will be perfect, loving family pets.
We raise our babies in our family home, surrounded by other cats, dogs and children.
Born in the living room?
They never see the inside of a cage, and the queens are given all the support they need. The queens are given the freedom to choose where they kitten, and when they want to introduce their litters to the greater family.
Pedigree papers?
We do not register any of our kittens with the GCCF. Unfortunately we cannot abide by their strict rules on the cats being free to roam, and therefore cannot register with them.
Free Spirits
We believe that cats are free spirits, and although city life can mean that being house cats is the safest option, we live in the country. Our adult cats roam free, hunting, climbing and chasing round the farm buildings. We have to be true to ourselves, and if that means selling kittens for a lot less than we paid for the parents, well, then that is the way it has to be.
Health
Our adult cats and kittens are regularly wormed according to our veterinaries advice. Any health issues are immediately delt with, as a small issue, if neglected, can escalate, so we respond quickly and efficiently to any signs of ill health or distress in our babies. We recommend that all our kittens are health checked soon after going to their new homes, so any problems can be resolved. If it transpires that the vet finds a genetic disorder, we promise to give a full refund, or the choice of another kitten.
When do the kittens leave?
Our kittens leave at 8 weeks old. You will be advised on their worming program to date. Their flea protection. Their diet so far.
They come with a Royal Canin Kitten pack, which you recieve when you book the kitten. This gives you time to collect your free bag of Royal Canin Kitten from either your pet shop or vet.

OUR WONDERFUL TOM CAT PYEWACKET
Our magnificent Pyewacket! His grandsire was American grand Champion, he is a classic of the breed.
Gentle and loving, he produces the most adorable kittens! A real lap cat, he is communicative and prefers sleeping to hunting any day. His great hunting career was topped the day he brought home a rabbit, unfortunately our Mastiff Reina, gleefully took it off him, and so he threw in the towel. Happy to be adored and fed, he has pride of place amongst his queens, and is a regular visitor to his litters.
